ZeckyChainZeckyChain

Roadmap

Three phases, each with a public completion bar.

Phase 1In progress

Now — launch token & reserve

  • Issue $Zeck on Solana
  • Connect fee collection to the 70/10/20 splitter
  • Publish reserve data and site dashboards
  • Public product summary
  • ZeckyChain development progress page (this page)

Complete when: 30 consecutive days of fees processed by the rules; reserve figures on this site match on-chain purchase records.

Phase 2Upcoming

Next — wrap & redeem

  • Launch own wrapped yZEC, or designate an existing wrapped ZEC (with contract address) as the reserve asset
  • Open wrapping and redemption
  • Issued yZEC never exceeds confirmed reserves
  • Publish redemption limits, waiting times, and manual-processing rules

Complete when: A small redemption completes end-to-end: yZEC returned, user receives native ZEC.

Phase 3Upcoming

Then — ZeckyChain mainnet

  • OP Stack mainnet (op-geth execution client)
  • Official bridge: yZEC on Solana ↔ ZEC on ZeckyChain
  • State digests committed into Zcash transactions
  • Separate announcement on $Zeck's post-mainnet role

Complete when: Users deposit wrapped ZEC into ZeckyChain and withdraw back; balances reconcile on both sides.

Development status

ZeckyChain L2 — current state.

MAINNET NOT YET DEPLOYED — architecture finalized, development in progress

Mainnet RPC, explorer, and bridge links will be published on this page. Until then, the summary below reflects the committed technical plan.

Committed stack

OP Stack with op-geth as the execution client — EVM-equivalent, compatible with existing Solidity tooling, wallets, and explorers. Transaction data on a DA network or committee; state roots, ZEC supply, and data location committed periodically into Zcash transparent transactions.

Mainnet decisions

Gas token decided at launch — bridged ZEC is preferred over ETH, since switching gas tokens after users arrive is costly. Bridge security in year one: multisig or threshold signatures plus Zcash state anchoring; proof-based release evaluated if Zcash adds in-protocol verification.

Bridge accounting (at mainnet)

Locked yZEC on Solana + reserves earmarked for ZeckyChain ≥ total ZEC on ZeckyChain + in-flight transfers. This table will be published separately from the wrap-reserve table.

Division of labor

Solana: where $Zeck trades, wrapped ZEC is bought and sold, and fees are collected today. ZeckyChain: where applications run and locked ZEC settles tomorrow — an EVM environment built on the OP Stack.
